still hate the sun
by Chelsea Tadeyeske
i wish i had the type of tenacity
that absorbs a twin in the womb
i keep saying i can’t imagine how you feel
as in you horrify me
love is more like a pill on the bathroom floor
not the need to serve a greater good
but i would totally spend the 50 years
i’m fully awake emptying and filling
this haunted lake with you
oh, no thanks
i’m not drinking right now
just weed
back of my heart like
the back of the moon
